What went wrong and what went right during my off-campus teaching
The off-campus teaching has been a great experience to me. Of course there are negative and positive experiences during that time that indeed tested my strength in the field of teaching.
Physical strength is needed during those times. But I have experienced medical problems. I was sick for 2 weeks resulting to consecutive absences in the service in some way there’s still positive spirit within me. I know that I need to get well very soon because I have duties and responsibilities to accomplish. I felt really bad that time knowing that I am missing a lot of things. But on the other side, I was still blessed because I have my cooperating teacher who is very understanding that time. Also having my family and friends at my side gave me more strength. I also did not forget to connect to our Almighty God because I do believe that I have him along the way. I know that all of these are the reasons why I surpassed that obstacle.
I am very lucky that I have slightly naughty but very hard working students. Every time I observe them doing the activity during the accordance with our lesson, in other way around, I could see in their actions that they have big dreams deep within them. Even if sometimes we have the bad days, still, that eagerness to learn, to strive others, and to go to school each and every day are enough reason for me to be motivated to impart to them the learning’s that they needed for them to be a better person not only the topics that need to be discussed but also the personality of each student that need to be nurtured. This might be my prizes during the service… those hopes in each student’s eyes.
