What went wrong and what went right during my off-campus teaching
At the very start of my off-campus teaching, it is very hard to deal with the new people in the new environment to be I deal with. First, the adjustment to my cooperating teacher because in the start he has a high standard and it is very hard to meet at the very start of my training, so I change my lifestyle I study well my lessons and I wake up early in order for me not to be late. I also adjust to those students that made the session very noisy, I apply those strategies that can help me to deliver those lesson and they will learn a lot before the lesson ended.
After the long week of adjustment I catch up the attention of the students through inserting some jokes in my lesson in order to them to focus of what I will say in front and I will deliver the good lesson. And along the adjustment to those students, I also adjust to the environment of being a teacher although i am a student teacher but I deal with them properly with respect.
I am happy with this experience because I’ve learned a lot not in teaching but how to deal with strangers in my journey.
DIAMOND EXPERIENCE
At the start it’s hard,
Make my lessons to be heard,
Showing them that I’m great,
But myself asking if I teaches
Right?
Every night make me think,
Holding my eyes not to blink,
Prepare lesson for them as a drink,
So each day I put their brain a link.
Seeing them grabbing information,
Eating my every day lesson,
Interacting in our simple discussion,
Making myself a full satisfaction.
Im not only the teacher,
They also teached me to hold anger,
To fight my fear,
To keep them alive as a learner.
Happiness in teaching,
I see all through learning,
Making them active is inspiring,
So myself now keep pushing.
