What went wrong and what went right during my off-campus teaching
Practice teaching is a paramount importance in the vocational training of student teachers. It is this immersion into the real world of school that prepares the student in making the transition from trainee to professional.
As a requirement of Educ.15, I took up my OFF CAMPUS TEACHING at Camaligan National High School. Many moments are happend and most lesson learned. Because of this off campus I learned how to be a teacher that can be loved by the students. At first day was very hard and challenging, I challenge to be good to all the people arounds me. In this times I have to consider so many things about the principal, teacher's, cooperating teacher and students.
Being a student teacher is not easy as what I think, there are so many things that should be done in almost an hour. You have to consider your cooperating teacher comments and suggestions on what you have done, but despite of all of those i'm very thankful because I'ved learned a lot.
Being a teacher is a big responsibility. Your students trust in what you have says. Being trust and love by the students was so great. That’s why every day I am excited to teach because I can see in their faces that they are willing to learn in my hand. The good relationship between I and my students makes me realize that teaching is for me. They let me to touch their lives, and in the short period of time they will be part of my life that I can treasure for the rest of my life.
A STUDENT SOMEWHERE
This is the time
To share and love
With the crazy faces
Of the ridiculous mind
Being with them
Was made me think crazy
For knowledge and happiness
That ends in an hour of fun
They said “I made their day happier”
But still they are knowledgeable
With their pens and papers
They become incredible!
Grade 09 and 10 are the best
They give me a lovely rose
With their simple hearth
That’s make me hope for the better!
